Winter and Taylor Isuzu is giving back this year as it joins the Camp Quality Geelong Convoy, taking place this Valentine’s Day, February 14.

The convoy sees some 500 trucks travel from Avalon Airport to the Geelong Showgrounds in a bid to raise money for Camp Quality children’s cancer charity.

Camp Quality provides services and support for families of children living with cancer. The charity helps foster a better quality of life through optimism and practical support at each stage of treatment.

The ongoing support of the Geelong and wider Victorian business community has been essential to raising much needed funds for the ongoing provision of services to families in the region dealing with cancer.

This year’s Isuzu Trucks component of the convoy fleet has been provided by Winter and Taylor Isuzu and will help with transport and logistics during the event.

“We are always happy to be involved with such an important annual event and to help in any way possible. This year we’ll be providing loan vehicles to help the day run as smoothly as possible,” Sales Manager Graham Ruby said.

“Camp Quality provides an invaluable service. We’re proud to support this important community event as the welfare of our children is paramount.

“I’d urge every business in the Geelong region to be a part of the day and get behind this worthy cause.”

The event culminates in a family fun day consisting of a concert, carnival-style rides, food and trade stalls. Last year, Camp Quality Geelong Convoy had 257 participants and raised $140,000 to support Victorian families living with childhood cancer.
