National Technical Skills Competition 2019

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) recently hosted the 12th National Technical Skills Competition at its training facility in Melbourne, bringing together the best of the best of Australia’s Isuzu truck technicians and putting their skills to the test. The participating technicians came from all around Australia, all vying for the top two spots to represent Australia at this year’s Isuzu World Technical Competition, also known as the I-1 Grand Prix (I-1 GP). The National Technical Skills Competition involved a written examination and three high-pressure practical tests, where the participants were presented with complex technical problems to be solved under the watchful eye of an expert judging panel. The top two finalists were Matthew Radke from Black Truck Sales and Michael Primmer from Winter & Taylor, who will be travelling to Fujisawa, Japan, for the I-1 GP, which will take place on 30 October 2019.  F Series 2019 sales program Be it waste and refuse, cold chain logistics, dry freight, pick-up and delivery, emergency services or something out of the ordinary, the Isuzu Trucks F Series range covers more applications than ever before.
