[image_gallery][/image_gallery] Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) is excited to announce an innovative new addition to its popular Ready to Work range of trucks: the NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper. With its Japanese factory-built tipper body, which can tilt to the left side, right or rear, Isuzu’s NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper will make drivers the envy of any work site they roll onto. “It offers much greater flexibility, meaning customers are less dependent on access,” IAL’s Chief Engineer, Product Strategy, Simon Humphries said. “A council might need to spread mulch along on a nature strip, for example. The Tri-Tipper allows them to do this with an ease well beyond what’s possible if they’re reliant on a traditional tipper that only tilts at the rear.” The truck’s pre-built tipper body is constructed with durable heavy duty steel and features drop sides and an auto release two-way tailgate. It also has an auto release body lockdown hook, shovel rack and non-slip side steps. The tipper function offers 20-second raise and lower times and rope rails on both left and right sides. Isuzu’s Tri-Tipper is ready to be put to work the minute you get the NLR registered and drive it out of the dealership – another big positive for businesses looking to ensure their equipment is generating optimum return on investment. Under the skin is the popular Isuzu 4JJ1-TCS engine, rated at 110 kW @ 2,800 rpm and 375 Nm @ 1,600 – 2,800 rpm. The engine – coupled with the robust Isuzu MYY-5T 5-speed manual transmission – means you’ll never be short on power, and a GVM of 5,500 kg (which can be de-rated to 4,500 kg so it can be driven on a car licence) adds to the overall package. The Tri-Tipper’s impressive pulling power is supported by a suite of technology, including safety features such as Isuzu’s Electronic Stability Control (IESC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Anti-Skid Regulator (ASR) and Hill-Start Assist (HSA). “We’re extremely proud to get the Tri-Tipper out on the road so our customers can see how it simplifies so many applications,” Mr Humphries said. “We believe the care and attention to detail that has gone into the development of this vehicle will impress even the most discerning operator.” The NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper is now available in Isuzu dealerships Isuzu’s Ready to Work truck models are specified and conveniently pre-bodied to cater to key trade, transport and materials handling applications.
