Throughout 2017 and into this year, the Isuzu Engines team maintained a strong focus on product design, development and innovation.

Our commitment to strengthening our offering has resulted in some impressive numbers, all radiating from a small but dedicated team operating out of Melbourne.

Throughout the calendar year Isuzu Engines worked to deliver:

  • Over 70 new parts developed
  • Over 200 engineering designs implemented, and
  • Over 100 power units assembled

In 2018, Isuzu Engines has taken its offering and range of professional services to the next level, with a raft of product innovation and local development to suit all manner of Australian applications.

Isuzu Engines’s Made to Stock (MTS) Series II is the latest incarnation of the popular turn-key power unit range, which has been thoughtfully refined and improved.

With a strong focus on targeting Australia’s diverse irrigation and pumping sector, the second coming of Isuzu Engines’s MTS line-up now includes three six-cylinder variants bred from Isuzu’s near-bulletproof 6HK1 engine.

Available in both mechanical injection and common rail configurations, the 6HK1 power units deliver greater horsepower, a revamped control unit and all the features of an electronic power unit, without the complexity of parts and the accompanying service labour.

Isuzu Engines’s range of complimentary accessories adds even further efficiencies in the form of solar panel kits for remote applications, and remote throttle actuation.

New product development to one side, IE is continuing to build lasting partnerships in 2018, through its attendance at field and agricultural days across the country.

First stop for the team in 2018 will be Launceston, Tasmania, and the world-renowned Agfest agricultural and machinery field day event.
