[image_gallery][/image_gallery] Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) is helping the Brisbane Truck Show celebrate its 50th anniversary by unveiling two innovative new Ready to Work models at the 2017 event. The NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack and the NLR 55-150 Tri-Tipper will headline Isuzu’s display at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 25 to 28. These new models will mark the latest evolution of IAL’s popular Ready to Work range, and the company’s commitment to offering a comprehensive selection of rugged and reliable work vehicles, purpose-built for Australian demands and conditions. Light The NLR 55-150 – fitted with a tipper body that can tilt its two cubic metre volume to the left, right or rear – will have operators excited for the potential applications this innovative new vehicle can tackle. Isuzu’s NNR 45-150 Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) Vanpack is also sure to turn heads with its ready to work 18.2 cubic metre, pre-built van body. The added ease of a 6-speed AMT with torque converter and park position means the Vanpack is poised to be Australia’s most logical turn-key, urban freight and parcel delivery solution. Isuzu Trucks’ Brisbane Truck Show stand will also feature the NLR 45-150 AMT short wheel base Ready to Work Servicepack. After only a short spell, the Servicepack has proven itself a standout within Isuzu’s Ready to Work range. With its 4JJ1-TCS engine putting out 110 kW of power at 2,800 rpm, the ease of use afforded by the automated manual transmission with torque converter and park position, as well as the endless storage convenience of seven lockable and LED-lit compartments, it’s easy to see why. Rounding-out the N Series trucks on display at Brisbane will be the NPR 45-155 short wheel base Premium Tradepack – which boasts a 4.5 tonne GVM and a heavy duty, 3.45m x 2.057m aluminum tray. The go-anywhere NPS 75-155 4x4 Crew will also be on hand, which gives drivers the certainty of Hill Start Aid and the grunt of a 4-cylinder 16-valve SOHC Isuzu 4HK1-TCN engine, ensuring even the hairiest terrain can be tackled in full confidence. Medium The display will also feature some of the N Series’ beefier big brothers from Isuzu’s all conquering medium-duty F Series range. With its 10.7 tonne GVM and TC-AMT transmission, the impressive FRR 107-210 Tipper will give Brisbane Truck Show audiences an insight into Isuzu’s prowess in this hard-fought weight segment. Similarly, The FSR 120-140 AMT long wheel base, with Sat Nav as standard and the Isuzu MZW-6P 6-speed AMT, demonstrates the market leader’s commitment to keeping the brawnier models stacked with options and high level capability. Heavy The all-conquering FYJ 2000 8x4 Agitator will win over fans of horsepower and fit for purpose practicality, boosted by the standard inclusion of Isuzu Electronic Stability Control (IESC). The FYJ 2000’s SITEC Series III 350 (ISUZU 6UZ1-TCN) 6-cylinder 24-valve SOHC engine puts out 257 kW of power at 2,000 rpm, meaning the ‘light’ heavy-duty truck handles its 30 tonne GVM with plenty to spare. At the top end of the weight scale, the Isuzu GXD 4x2 Prime Mover, also on display, will show those drivers accustomed to staring down a long stretch of highway, just how much more comfortable their route could be when they’re riding with Isuzu’s Digital Audio Visual Equipment (DAVE) unit, fully integrated auto control air conditioning and a suite of other welcome inclusions. The FVZ 260-300 6x4 Auto offers features including an ECE-R93 compliant front underrun protection device, driver and passenger airbag with seatbelt pretensioner and ABS – evidence that Isuzu’s engineers have left nothing to chance when it comes to safety on the road. Rounding out IAL’s Brisbane Truck Show lineup will be the mighty Giga CXY 455 6x4 AMT. Putting out 338 kW of power at 1,600 rpm and with a GCM of 54 tonnes, this tipper variation will show why, when Australians need an affordable fit-for-purpose solution, they turn to Isuzu’s Giga range. IAL’s Advertising Manager, Jeff Birdseye, said the brand was excited about the breadth of product range Isuzu will have on display for the Truck Show’s 50th anniversary. “The versatility of the eleven vehicles on our stand will demonstrate the foundations of Isuzu Australia’s success,” he said. “It’s a selection of trucks that represent a comprehensive range of models with the right fusion of performance and reliability, supported by products from the pioneering aftersales service suite, Isuzu Care. “We’re looking forward to providing everyone, including tradespeople and truck enthusiasts, with a greater insight into the capability of Isuzu’s range at the 2017 Brisbane Truck Show.” ends For further information, please contact: Jeff Birdseye Isuzu Australia Limited Phone: 03 9644 6666 For Isuzu Truck Releases and Photos: Arkajon Communications Phone: 03 9867 5611 Email: isuzu@arkajon.com.au
