[image_gallery][/image_gallery] Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) is delighted to announce the release of its Ready to Work NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack, a truck built to take the compromise out of last-mile freight transport. Boasting a GVM of 4,500 kg and an Isuzu 4JJ1-TCS engine capable of producing 110 kW @ 2,800 rpm and 375 Nm @ 1,600 – 2,800 rpm, the NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack delivers an outstanding level of capability and convenience. IAL Chief Engineer, Product Strategy, Simon Humphries said Isuzu developed the Vanpack in response to feedback from Australian businesses, specifically engineering the truck to suit drivers transporting goods in urban environments. “As logistics increasingly demands shipments delivered to customer’s doors, the NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack means operators won’t have to compromise when they’re looking for a vehicle that can carry a lot but is nimble enough to navigate narrow, metropolitan streets,” Mr Humphries said. The vehicle boasts an Australian designed and assembled 18.5 m3 body, featuring four mounting points per side, double rear barn doors, rear grab handles and non-slip rear steps. It also has LED clearance lights and a handy interior work light. “We also expect the appeal of being able to put the Vanpack to work as soon as it’s driven out of the showroom – with the correct registration and insurance – won’t be lost on savvy business owners looking to get the most out of their equipment,” Mr Humphries said. “The pre-bodied Vanpack also comes with an OEM body label, so owners won’t have to worry about the hassle and expense of getting a modification plate for it.” Isuzu has carefully selected the Vanpack’s dimensions to ensure a combination of maximum accessibility and internal volume. The overall height allows the Vanpack to drive under bridges and other overhead structures with 3.0 m or higher clearance restrictions. And should the owner wish to fit a rear electro-hydraulic tailgate loader, the body is specified for easy fitment. “The Vanpack offers high-level performance and ease of operation,” Mr Humphries said. “At every point in the construction of this vehicle, we’ve thought about the driver.” The Vanpack ticks every box, from Isuzu’s own MYY-6E 6-speed automated manual transmission with torque converter and park position, to the inclusions of a reversing camera, a Digital Audio Visual Equipment (DAVE) unit and Sat Nav as standard, as well as its safety features such as Isuzu’s Electronic Stability Control System (IESC), Anti-Skid Regulator (ASR or Traction Control) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack in now available in Isuzu dealerships.
