National Technical Skills Competition 2024 final round

Each year, the National Technical Skills Competition brings together a selection of Isuzu’s finest technicians and apprentices from across the Isuzu Dealer Network. These bright talents use their considerable knowledge and skills to complete a written exam and diagnose a series of common and more abstract maintenance issues, competing against one another and the clock.
Brett Stewart, Isuzu Australia's Head of Aftersales (and once a service technician like those competing), talks us through this year’s event.
Congratulations the top finalists for 2024: Jonathan (Jono) Elias from Black Truck & Ag in Queensland and Louis Holt from Bendigo Isuzu in Victoria, plus Hamish Yeomans of Webster Trucks in Tasmania who placed first in the apprentice round and Travis Chaffey of Double R Isuzu in New South Wales who placed second.

Lead the charge with Australia’s favourite truck.
2025 heralds Isuzu Trucks’ 36th year as market leader.* Number one in more than just sales, though, Isuzu Trucks has an unparalleled dealer support network, customer care program, truck range, and legendary reliability.
