Isuzu’s Engines Department has kicked-off their 2016 events calendar with South East Field Days in Lucindale, South Australia, earlier this month.
Now in its 38
th year, the South Australian agricultural event attracts some 20,000 attendees over two days and despite the weather this year’s event was no exception.
Home to a bustling farming community, the South East Field Days draws crowds from across Australia, interested in the latest and greatest farming and agriculture technologies and equipment.
And the Lucindale crowd proved to be the perfect audience for Isuzu Australia Limited’s (IAL) Engines Department.
Rod Best, Engine Sales Manager, IAL, explained, “We first exhibited at the 2015 South East Field Days and were overwhelmed with the response we received there.
“We managed to establish some solid relationships last year and most importantly, we were able to inform those that were otherwise unaware, that Isuzu produces a quality off-highway solution and at a very competitive price point.
“Our off-highway engines are applied in a variety of agricultural settings and many of the 20,000-odd attendees at this event are of course connected to these industries in some way.”
The Isuzu Engines stand is bigger and better this year with an impressive line-up of products on display.
“With a custom built marquee and stand featuring a cross-section of the range, Isuzu Engines will be hard to miss for the remainder of 2016. As well as increasing our exhibition real estate, we’ve also increased the number of products on display, covering just about every vocational application,” Rod said.
“Throughout 2016 we will be travelling with ten complete engine examples.”
A mixture of two-cylinder, three-cylinder, four-cylinder and six-cylinder models were on-site for attendees to inspect as well as experienced off-highway engine experts to field all application queries.
“It’s about being able to match the right product to the right application. We’re aiming to empower our customers by supplying the solution that most suitably meets specific needs.
