Sep 25, 2019 0min read

The first month of spring promises warm(er) weather, more sun… and the Truck of the Year Competition promises a heated competition that will end in triumph for only one lucky grand prize winner who will receive a $6,000 Visa cash card.

But, to make things even more interesting, each monthly winner goes into the running to win the Series category prizes, where a winning truck in each of the truck range categories will stand to receive $1,000 in a Visa cash card. Full terms and conditions here (see Truck of the Year Competition section). A big thank you to this month’s entrants, and a hearty congratulations to Brian Hope from AJ HOPE & SONS who is the September winner with their FYJ 300-350! Brian will receive $300 worth of Isuzu Trucks merchandise and go into the running for the grand prize. If you want to get your truck in before we decide on the grand prize winner, submit your Isuzu truck today! AJ HOPE & SONS Brian Hope of AJ Hope & Sons could not cope without this Isuzu FYJ 300-350 to help him rope in his crops. For the cropping business, the FYJ is an integral part of their equipment. And with the truck’s comfort, it makes travelling between properties a pleasure—and that’s not to mention its tight turning circle and the lower weight, giving higher payload and ability to travel comfortably across fields. AMOSVAC Steven’s truck really sucks, but don’t worry—it’s supposed to. This FXZ 240-350 from AmosVac is the perfect truck for the job, with just the right capacity and payload to get the job done with the right equipment. WATERWORKS TAMWORTH You call the Ghostbusters for ghosts, Batman for crime and WaterWorks Tamworth for plumbing and drainage. WaterWorks needed a reliable truck that could do the work and still look great doing it—and here entered their Isuzu NPR 45-155 Tradepack. The truck is fitted with a custom toolbox, and can tow their 1.8-tonne excavator while driving smoothly with air suspension seats and clear hands-free calling. MJM LOGISTICS This Isuzu from the F Series range does all the hard work for Mark from MJM Logistics, including being high enough off the ground to perfectly aid in reaching high-rise buildings. Not only that, it’s reliable—meaning Mark can turn the key every single day without questioning whether or not this Isuzu will turn on. You’ll never have to stress with Isuzu. STIHL SHOP Chris learnt it the easy that with Isuzu, you can drive it straight from the factory to work—no extra customisations required. This Isuzu N Series truck has plenty of tie down spots and no worries about it not being able to carry the business’s ride-on mowers. This truck comes with satnav for easy navigation and even a handwash tank to wash your hands when the job’s done.

Playtime’s over, get $3,500* to spend on extras.

If you’re ready to get serious about tackling bigger jobs, grab yourself an NLR 45-150 AMT SWB Traypack from the Ready-to-Work range for $62,990 drive away*. And to prove we aren’t playing, buy any NLR Traypack before June 30 and you’ll get $3,500* to spend on genuine accessories or an Essentials service agreement.
