Taming The West: Isuzu Trucks And Sea Heavy Diesel Team Up

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) is proud to announce the coming together of Australia’s truck market leader and Esperance-based South East Auto & Heavy Diesel (SEA Heavy Diesel) as an Isuzu authorised service and parts outlet (ASPO). This marks the first Isuzu ASPO in Esperance, Western Australia.

The South East Auto & Heavy Diesel team based out of Esperance, Western Australia. With over 70 dealership and ASPO locations across Australia, Isuzu Trucks has conceivably the broadest, most professional aftersales network in the country—and can now add the southern reaches of Western Australia to that exhaustive list. SEA Heavy Diesel owner and founder, Tim Warr, said the opportunity to team up with the truck market leader isn’t one he could pass up. “We’re proud to be representing Isuzu Trucks here in Esperance,” Mr Warr said. “Isuzu Trucks is a very well-known brand, and for local owners and operators in and around Esperance, it’s a great opportunity to have access to authorised Isuzu servicing and parts.” Mr Warr and wife Chrystal founded SEA Heavy Diesel back in 2015, servicing and repairing everything and anything diesel powered, along with air conditioning and electrical repairs and maintenance. Tim Warr and wife Chrystal founded SEA Heavy Diesel back in 2015. Reading and responding to the market, SEA Heavy Diesel recognised the need to continually innovate and upskill, and now employ Esperance-based technicians, including two full-time qualified heavy diesel mechanics and a full-time junior parts interpreter. “We’ve done some major work to ensure the workshop is updated and fully capable of the work we’ll be entrusted to undertake,” Mr Warr said. “Our staff are fully trained by Isuzu Australia, and we have the latest software and tools to diagnose, repair and maintain the latest in truck technology. We’re ready and raring to go and of course, we welcome all new and existing Isuzu owners. “The local community has been really supportive, and we’ve been able to grow as a small business. “Now, with Isuzu Trucks on board, we will be able to employ more locals to join our team. Our son works after school on a casual basis as a trade assistant, plus we also often have a number of work experience kids from the local high school here.” With six Esperance locals on the books, SEA Heavy Diesel is always looking to nurture talent from the region. IAL National Dealer Development Manager, Nathan Ton, said the partnership showed great promise, with Isuzu customers in the area benefitting from this. “We’re extremely pleased to have Tim, Chrystal and the team at SEA Heavy Diesel on board in 2019 as our latest ASPO,” said Mr Ton. “The arrangement fills the coverage gap in Western Australia. Those southern reaches of the state have traditionally been a bit of a grey area for most truck manufactures, so this announcement is extremely welcomed, especially for our customers. “SEA Heavy Diesel is already very well respected in the region, and they are known for their excellent customer-centric approach and technical know-how. “It’s for these reasons we have every confidence Isuzu truck owners in the surrounding area will now have access to the most up-to-date service and repair skill-set.” As part of the Isuzu Trucks Dealer Network, SEA Heavy Diesel supplies genuine Isuzu parts, and those purchased and fitted by the team carry a three-year warranty (conditions apply).
