Isuzu Power Solutions (IPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Troy Lawson as the new Sales Manager, SA and NSW. Mr Lawson comes on board to further grow the IPS brand in these states.

Matt Sakhaie, Head of Power Solutions, said Mr Lawson’s appointment is a strategic move to further strengthen the organisation’s presence across Australia, following the recent rebranding of Isuzu Australia Limited’s off-highway engines department to Isuzu Power Solutions. “The rebrand represents a very exciting time for us, and Troy’s appointment is one of the first steps in assembling a passionate and high-performing team here,” said Mr Sakhaie. “Troy is well respected in the power generation and marine industries, and we believe his experience and skills in the sector will richly benefit the IPS team.” Having over 20 years’ experience in management, marketing and new business growth from his roles in senior business and sales management with Cummins South Pacific, Mr Lawson is no stranger to the market of power solutions. Prior to his appointment at IPS, Mr Lawson has led successful sales teams in the capital equipment sector, with a proven record in building and leading high-performing sales teams, account management, marketing and strategic planning and execution. Mr Lawson believes that he will be able to contribute positively to the growth of the IPS brand. “There is a huge opportunity to grow IPS and I look forward to the challenge of identifying what the market requires and making sure we’ve got the best solution to meet those needs,” Mr Lawson said. Being someone who enjoys fresh opportunities, Mr Lawson is thrilled to be part of the IPS team and looks forward to helping the IPS brand make an impact on the Australian market. Mr Lawson added, “I enjoy working with a good brand and good people, and IPS allows me access to the best of the both worlds. “The Isuzu brand is a well-established and respected brand in the industry, with a solid dealer network already in place; the team at IPS follows a disciplined approach, balanced by a great work culture, which makes the role an excellent fit for me.” Representing the IPS team, Mr Lawson will be greeting the public in the upcoming AgQuip field days (20–22 August 2019) and the Henty Machinery Field Days (17–19 September 2019).
