Isuzu Japan and Cummins Join Forces to Explore Next-Generation Powertrains In a partnership that aims to evaluate the delivery of globally competitive products, Isuzu Motors Limited (Japan) has signed a Letter of Intent with global power leader Cummins Inc. (USA). This collaborative move comes at a time when the automotive industry is entering a “once-in-a-century-innovation” period and looking at diversifying power sources, such as electrification. The two companies are keen to explore the development of future powertrain solutions and envision an opportunity for a potential long-term partnership in the power source industry. “We look forward to the potential benefits such a partnership represents for Isuzu globally, and for our customers here in Australia,” said IAL Director and Chief Executive Officer, Phil Taylor. Isuzu Engines Wraps-up Roadshow at Australian National Field Days A busy year of field days for Isuzu Engines was brought to a close with their off-highway engines showcase at the recent Australian National Field Days held between 25 and 27 October. The busy Borenore site was teeming with exhibitors and visitors keen to keep up with the latest technological innovations in agriculture and farming. The event saw Isuzu Engines display their popular Made to Stock range of power units along with quality accessories such as their highly-rated cooling packages, suited for variety of agricultural applications and operating temperatures. Isuzu Engines Sales Manager, Rod Best, was happy to end the field day tour with positive customer feedback. “We’ve worked to improve the efficiency on our current product range and it’s been a pleasure to interact with customers who recognise that. We always value that feedback and it’s this response that pushes us to improve our offering even further,” Mr Best said.
