Isuzu Engines Primed for AGQUIP 2018
Isuzu Engines is primed to showcase its latest range of industrial engines at one of the premiere agricultural field days, AGQUIP 2018 (21-23 August), in Gunnedah, New South Wales.
With significant parts of NSW experiencing severe drought, sustainable irrigation solutions to support agricultural businesses are in ever-increasing demand. Isuzu Engines will be on the ground at AGQUIP showcasing a representative selection of three, four and six-cylinder engines aimed at irrigation applications. AGQUIP has been an institution on the field day circuit since the inaugural event was held in 1973, and August will see the purpose-built site in Gunnedah come to life as participants and attendees gather to promote and learn about the latest developments within agricultural and related industries. The action-packed event will host more than 3,000 agricultural and industry related products and services, as distributors, manufacturers and industry experts weigh in on the emerging trends and technologies. Isuzu Engines Sales Manager, Rod Best, noted the opportunity that field days provide for the team to meet and speak face to face with the end-users and customers. “The farmers, croppers and graziers know the importance of maximising water use efficiency, particularly in light of the challenging conditions currently facing those working the land in NSW,” he said. “We’ve continued to improve our product range and have paid particular attention to the agricultural irrigation sector, where our power unit are very well suited. This year we’ve put a lot of emphasis on our locally developed components that enhance the functionality of our product range. “Our cooling packages can handle over 50 degrees ambient temperatures and are built to perform in extreme conditions, and we have a range of componentry and accessories specifically developed to cater to centre pivot and lateral move irrigation systems. Isuzu’s industrial engines division has built a strong reputation in the demanding off-highway market with a range of efficient and powerful engines suited to a broad swathe of power and re-power applications.
