[image_gallery][/image_gallery] Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) looks forward to joining exhibitors at this month’s annual Australasian Fire and Emergency Services Authorities Council (AFAC) conference. Held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 30 August – 1 September, AFAC will draw thousands of attendees over the three-day program which includes keynote speakers, workshops and demonstrations. Joining experts from all areas of the fire and emergency services fields, the Isuzu Australia stand will showcase a key selection of products from Isuzu Trucks, Isuzu Engines and Isuzu Parts. An FTS 800 4x4 will take pride of place on the stand, fitted with a GAAM MK300 pump which is powered by an Isuzu 4LE2PW10 engine. The 2.2 litre, 4 cylinder, off-highway engine has a 45 degree ambient cooling package and a metal air cleaner with flame retardant element, making it ideal for emergency services vehicles. Isuzu customer GAAM Emergency Services, who specialise in designing expert fire suppression systems, will also be exhibiting their Isuzu 3CA1AZP01 engine on the day. Isuzu Engines Manager Dean Whitford said AFAC is an extremely important event for showcasing the suitability of Isuzu off-highway engines for the emergency services sector. “We’ve been working extremely hard to develop the quietest, most compact engine we can, and last year’s conference was proof that our ongoing refinements are being welcomed by the industry,” Mr Whitford said. Isuzu 4x4 trucks have also become a firm favourite of emergency services teams around the country, hailed for their reliability and capacity to get crews where they need to go – regardless of the location. IAL National Fleet Sales Manager Les Spaltman said Isuzu is well equipped to offer the whole package to emergency services customers. “Reliability is key when it comes to the essential work the emergency services do and Isuzu produces trucks and engines that deliver that every time,” Mr Spaltman said. “Last year was a resounding success and it was fantastic to see Isuzu products featuring on so many of our customers’ stands. “It’s a privilege to be aligned with such a critical Australian industry and we’re looking forward to strengthening those relationships at this year’s event.” ends For further information, please contact:       Jeff Birdseye                                                         Marketing Manager                                               Isuzu Australia Limited                                         Phone: 03 9644 6666 For Isuzu Truck Releases and Photos:  Arkajon Communications Phone: 03 9867 5611 Email: isuzu@arkajon.com.au
