Designed to supply power to a varying electrical load for an unlimited span of time, the new prime power IPS design means a 10 percent overload capability is also available for a restricted time, also known as stand by power. Currently under development are a range of new prime power gensets rated at a minimum ambient temperature of 40°C (at full power) or 50°C (at reduced power), perfect for a range of end-uses throughout Australia’s unforgiving environment. Whether intended to be used as the main power source or as an auxiliary source to respond to energy needs in a credible and efficient way, the new range features heavy-duty bar and plate construction for robust and hard-wearing use, whatever the application. All new gensets will feature premium Mecc Alte self-regulating brushless alternators for a seamless and assured power flow, regardless of demand. Anti-vibration mounts and custom skids have been locally-developed in Melbourne, specifically suited to each new variant. This ensures a smooth and gentle operation be it out in the bush in an urban industrial setting. Also available with the Isuzu Power Solutions genset range is the ECO Genset Controller, tweaked specifically for use in power generation applications. The ECO Genset Controller allows for complete mechanical or electronic engine control, monitoring and protection. The controller offers engine performance monitoring, including oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage and speed.
