[image_gallery][/image_gallery] Isuzu has honed its Ready to Work range to accommodate most trade applications imaginable. From the cab to the body, all the bases have been covered resulting in a range of trucks optimised in every aspect to suit the needs of the ambitious tradie. And with many models able to be driven on a car drivers’ licence, and featuring two-pedal transmissions, they are just as easy to drive as the old work ute, but far more productive. The N Series Ready to Work models are crammed with intelligent engineering technology, specified at key wheelbase dimensions and pack the performance and payload to keep up with the biggest jobs, yet the size and manoeuvrability allows them to park them in your driveway. There’s a model to suit just about every trade application, with class-leading engines and drivelines, spacious cabin interiors and carefully designed safety enhancements. With its Ready to Work range Isuzu has eliminated the body-builder waiting game, with all 12 models coming complete with factory fitted bodies (all covered under the Isuzu warranty), ready to drive from the showroom to the work site – once registered and insured. Every model has ample storage space for your gear, a well-appointed cab and the feature-pack Digital Audio Visual Equipment (DAVE), making each truck a useful, comfortable and entertaining place to spend a day at work. With safety top of mind for all trades, the N Series is equipped with a comprehensive suite of active and passive safety features including Isuzu Electronic Stability Control (IESC) for 4x2 models, driver and passenger airbags, ABS, Anti-skid regulator (ASR) and Hill Start Aid on manual transmission models. Traypack Aimed at business owners and tradespeople who have outgrown their one-tonne van or ute, Isuzu's NLR 45-150 Traypack is available in both short and medium wheelbases and has a GVM of 4,500 kg, with an impressive payload of around 2 tonnes (SWB model). The Traypack features a heavy-duty aluminium tray with removable drop sides, rear tailgate and integrated load-restraint anchor points. The short wheelbase model is fitted with a factory-built 3,150 mm x 1,930 mm aluminium tray and 330 millimetre high drop-sides. The medium wheel base variation is fitted with a slightly larger, factory-built 4,500 mm x 1,930 mm tray body and 330 millimetre high drop-sides. Designed with safety and functionality in mind, the body is also fitted with steps at the front of the tray for easy access and a rear window protector. The truck’s safety features include the stand-out Isuzu Electronic Stability Control (IESC) technology as well as driver and passenger airbags, ABS braking and ASR traction control. A four-cylinder, turbocharged and air-to-air intercooled Isuzu 4JJ1-TCS engine, with 110 kW of power at 2,800 rpm and 375 Nm of torque at 1,600 to 2,800 rpm powers the trucks through any conditions thrown at them. Drivers have a choice of either a 5-speed manual transmission or Isuzu's latest 6-speed Automated Manual Transmission with Torque Converter and Park Position (TC-AMT), which is ideal for driving on congested city streets. In addition, independent front coil suspension provides car-like ride and handling. Tradepack If you’re after that extra power and torque, every aspect of the Isuzu NPR 45-155 Tradepack’s been developed with the discerning tradesperson in mind. The Tradepack provides a genuine, no-nonsense alternative to standard trade utility vehicles, offering superior handling and access on busy work sites, while the 1,485 kg payload (SWB model) means you’ll never have to leave a tool behind again. Although the range’s flexibility is vast, what really sets it apart is the functionality a short wheel base offers. The Ready to Work range, in particular the Tradepack variation, are compact and nimble with a turning circle tighter than most utilities currently on the market. In addition, the SWB models have been specifically designed to fit comfortably into any standard driveway or parking space. It has everything a tradie is likely to need, including removable drop-sides and rear tailgate on an aluminium tray, along with a genuine Isuzu 3,500 kg rated tow bar. Integrated load-restraint anchor points and heavy-duty galvanised ladder racks ensure your equipment stays secure, while a rear window protector keeps you and the crew safe whilst on the move. In addition to IESC, other impressive safety features include Anti-lock Braking (ABS), Anti-skid Regulator (ASR) traction control and Hill Assist. The truck offers substantial payload capacity with a 4,500 kg GVM, while its serious grunt comes from 114 kW of power at 2,600 rpm and a useful 419 Nm of toprque developed over a wide range from 1,600 to 2,600 rpm. Drivers have a choice of either a 5-speed manual transmission or Isuzu's 6-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) in the upgraded Premium model. The Premium Pack includes added features like a foldaway access step, underbody mounted 23-litre water tank with wash-station, climate control air conditioning, stadard reversing camera and cruise control. Servicepack If you’re looking for a truck that not only stores all your tools, but keeps them supremely organised, you can’t go past Isuzu’s Servicepack. Built on an Isuzu NLR 45-150, the award-winning* Servicepack offers an impressive GVM of 4,500 kg and towing capacity of up to 2,500 kg. The compact and nimble Servicepack’s tight turning circle and short wheel base dimensions fit comfortably into any standard driveway or parking space. This model is enhanced with the availability of Isuzu's latest 6-speed Automated Manual Transmission with Torque Coverter and 'P' for park position, providing a car-like driving experience. The new model also offers ample on-board storage with seven centrally lockable storage compartments, each fitted with internal LED lighting for optimum visibility. A central storage area with load rated tie-down hooks is a key feature, and an integrated step tow-bar and Isuzu reversing camera make the Servicepack the ultimate alternative to a standard diesel ute fitted with a work body. Premium visibility and car-like comfort are all rounded out with truck-tough engineering and a superior payload of over 1.5 tonnes, while Isuzu Electronic Stability Control (IESC) comes standard, ensuring a safer drive. Powered by the Isuzu 4JJ1-TCS engine, 3.0 litre diesel turbo-charged and intercooled engine, the Servicepack delivers power of 110 kW at 2,800 rpm and torque of 375 Nm at 1,600 to 2,800 rpm, while comfortably meeting the Euro V emissions standards. *The Servicepack was named the Best Light Truck of 2016 by Delivery Magazine, cementing its credentials as one of the best light rigid commercial vehicles on the Australian market today. Tippers While the other Ready to Work (RTW) models rule the worksite, Isuzu’s Tipper range is king of the quarries and supplies yards. The Isuzu range of Ready to Work Tippers starts with car licence compliant models – with the full range extending right up to the FRR 107-210 Tipper, rated at 10,700 kg GVM. The Tipper models, across the NLR, NPR and NQR range, provide all the features you’d expect from the class-leading Isuzu N Series, with the factory built Tipper body perfect for a range of applications. The FRR 107-210 Tipper carries on the tradition, applying the formula to the hard-working F Series model. The most recent addition to the Isuzu factory Tipper range comes in the form of the exciting new NLR 55-150 Tri-Tipper. Specified as standard with 5,500 kg GVM, but also able to be specified for car driver’s licence at 4,500 kg, the Tri-Tipper offers a unique proposition amongst Japanese light-duty trucks. Isuzu's RTW Tri-Tipper has the ability to shed its load to the left, right or rear in confined spaces or along roadsides, all from the comfort of the truck cabin. This gives landscapers, council maintenance crews and a host of other operators flexibility that a standard tipper cannot. The renowned ability of Isuzu Tippers, to manage just about any operational condition, makes them ideal for all work types, whether its haulage, earthmoving, road maintenance, or equipment hire. With Isuzu’s Ready to Work range, every business can add reliability, flexibility and power to their daily drive.
